About Us
Embrace Compassion was established in 2011 with several families pulling together for the purpose of meeting one need at a time in Ethiopia.
The focus of Embrace Compassion is three fold:
- Support and encourage Americans living in Ethiopia who are giving their lives to serve in Jesus’ name
- Offer child sponsorship and family preservation which brings hope and wholeness to an entire community
- Tackle one large project at a time such as our first project, clean water
Currently Serving in an Active Volunteer Capacity
Jennifer Bridges, Founder: Born and raised in the Northwest and graduated from Vanguard University with a degree in psychology. Business owner, wife and mother of Kaytynn and Harrison. Currently serving as the Executive Director.
Misty Auel: Lives in Portland, is a wife and a mother of two. Executive Administrative Assistant
Shane Bridges, MBA: Administrative Advisor
Alex Kaba: Has lived in Portland Oregon since 2010. He is from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and serves as the International Director.
